About this Place Of Interest

Perched atop a rock along the dramatic coastline of Bali is Tanah Lot, one of the most famous temples in Bali. This temple is one of seven sea temples along the Balinese coast, each of which was established within sight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. During low tide, visitors can walk right up to the temple and explore the rocky intertidal habitats. As for high tide, the sea embraces the temple with foamy waves and salty sea spray. Visit during sunset for a spectacular view of Bali’s coast.
