About this Place Of Interest


The Geological Museum, which was established in 1948, is located on the first floor of an Emerald building which is situated next to the Department of Mineral Resources on Rama VI road. The Museum, which covers about 600 square metres of space, consists of eight zones. The eight zones have various exhibits of minerals, rocks, plate movements, geological surveys and fossils. There is also a special exhibition on dinosaur fossils. The main aim of the Museum is to promote conservative geological resource exploitation awareness by presenting geological specimens, descriptions, pictures and models.
