About this Place Of Interest

Originally built as the viceroy palace for His Majesties King Mongkut and King Rama IV, the Bangkok National Museum is the first museum in Thailand to be opened to public in 1874 that displays a wide range of artefacts and Thai art. The museum was recently revamped to what it is today with exhibits arranged into three areas that outline Thai history and is complemented with detailed English descriptions.
